Responsibilities:

1. Build, deploy, and maintain WordPress CMS in a high traffic, high-profile production environment.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the implementation of new features and updates, translating designed solutions into effective, user-friendly interfaces.

3. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and liaise with the team to plan, develop, and manage site content.

4. Assist in the development of WordPress plugins, themes, and other functionalities based on the requirements provided by the team.

5. Monitor website performance, network availability, and security.

6. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise and provide effective solutions.

7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in the technology field and recommend improvements in the areas of technology that can lead to improved efficiency.


Required Qualifications and Skills:

1. BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.

2. At least 4 years of intensive experience in WordPress architecture and deployment.

3. Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and MYSQL.

4. Must have knowledge of WordPress Plugin development.

5. Familiar with web standards and usability, and have excellent attention to detail.

6. Experience with source control, such as Git.

7. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

8. Strong written and oral communication skills.

9. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
