We are currently seeking a highly-skilled and professional Head of Operations in IT to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be crucial in ensuring L'Oreal's technological development, overseeing the company's IT operations, and leading our IT professionals. You will have a significant impact on our overall business by ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and by playing a key role in strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing all IT operations including system updates, network maintenance, and repairing and installing equipment.
2. Leading the design and implementation of IT strategies and systems required to fulfill the company's IT needs.
3. Controlling budget and reporting on expenditure related to IT operations.
4. Addressing problems and troubleshooting to ensure the smooth workings of the IT systems.
5. Assisting in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts.
6. Leading, mentoring and training the IT department and other staff on technology issues.
7. Ensuring compliance with company's policies and legal standards.
8. Keeping abreast of technology and digital trends and advancements for the organization's benefit.

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is required, a Master’s degree is preferred.
2. Proven experience as Head of IT Operations or similar managerial role.
3. Excellent understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases and storage systems.
4. Strong strategic planning and business development skills.
5. Effective leadership and communication skills.
6. Experience in project management and methodology.
7. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
8. Deep understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.
