Job Description:
The WordPress Developer API Integration position at L'Oreal includes developing and integrating plugins and applications using APIs. The potential aspirant must have efficient knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and WordPress. The successful applicant will require to provide high-level digital solutions and contribute to our website's overall effectiveness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement new features and functionalities around WordPress and API integrations.
2. Establish and guide the website’s architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability.
3. Collaborate with members of our digital marketing and graphics team to ensure all developments are in line with our overall brand strategy.
4. Fine-tune the user interface and user experience of the website, optimize for speed and efficiency.
5. Maintain data security and safe payment methods.
6. Timely troubleshoot and fix bugs and other technical problems.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new and emerging tools and technologies.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. At least 3-years experience with PHP, HTML/CSS, WordPress, and JavaScript.
3. Prior experience in Woocommerce, and API Integrations (like REST/SOAP).
4. Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
5. Proficiency in website optimization techniques.
6. Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
7. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
8. Comfortable working in a collaborative environment as well as individually.
